1. Find Mt. Fuji Photo Spots Starting from Shin-Fuji Station
One of the most enjoyable things to do in Fuji City is searching for scenic viewpoints of Mt. Fuji.
🚅 Even near Shin-Fuji Station, you can find several photo spots where the mountain appears beautifully framed by roads, rivers, and local landscapes.

Some locations are within walking distance, while others are easy to reach by rental bicycle or a short taxi ride.
If the weather is clear, exploring these viewpoints can become a memorable highlight of your visit.
📸 Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge (Fujisan Yume No Ōhashi Bridge)
🏭 Mt. Fuji Views with Fuji City’s Industrial Landscape
On the way to Fujisan Yume No Ōhashi Bridge, you can also experience a different side of Fuji City.
🚶 In several spots along the route, Mt. Fuji appears behind busy roads, factory chimneys, and the everyday infrastructure that supports this industrial city.

🗻 Because the scenery changes as you walk, it can be enjoyable to take a slow walk from Shin-Fuji Station toward the bridge while looking for viewpoints along the way.

⚠️ Just keep in mind that some sections of the road are narrow and may not have sidewalks,
so be sure to walk carefully and stay aware of traffic.
🌸 Cherry Blossom Mt. Fuji Views at Ryuganbuchi (Urui River)
During the cherry blossom season in early April, one of the most famous photo spots in Fuji City is 📍Ryuganbuchi, located along the Urui River.
🗻 Rows of cherry trees line the riverbank, and on clear days you can see Mt. Fuji rising beautifully behind the pink blossoms.

📍 If you’re coming from Shin-Fuji Station, the easiest way to reach Ryuganbuchi is by taxi, which takes about 15–20 minutes.
Another option is to travel by train: go to JR Fuji Station and take the Minobu Line (a local line) to Iriyamase Station.
✒️ For detailed directions and travel tips, please see our separate guide on how to access Ryuganbuchi.
🚲 Explore Fuji City’s Mt. Fuji Viewpoints by Rental Bicycle
If you want to explore more viewpoints at your own pace, renting a bicycle is a great option.
Bicycles are available at the tourist information center inside Shin-Fuji Station, though the number of bikes is limited.
Electric-assist bicycles are especially few, reservations are not available.

If you’re interested in discovering lesser-known Mt. Fuji views that locals often know about, a guided cycling tour using electric-assist bicycles (reservation required by the day before) can be a great alternative.
👉 We’ll introduce it in the next section.
2. Join an English-Guided E-Bike Tour from Shin-Fuji Station
Exploring Fuji City by bicycle is enjoyable, but if you want to discover hidden Mt. Fuji viewpoints and local scenery that are hard to find on your own, joining an English-guided e-bike tour is an excellent option.

🚲 These tours use electric-assist bicycles, making it easy to ride comfortably even if you’re not used to cycling long distances.
With a local guide leading the way in English, you can visit scenic viewpoints, quiet riverside paths, and lesser-known spots
where Mt. Fuji appears unexpectedly behind the everyday landscape of Fuji City.

so it’s best to plan ahead if you’d like to join the tour.
